I'm an 18-year-old sophomore in college at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, working towards my major in Art as a Graphic Designer. This site was created partly to practice my html skills and partly because my old site needed a new look. Many of the images on this site are copyrighted by CLAMP, the producers of Magic Knight Rayearth. These images are free for taking. The design itself is also free for taking, but please don't make an exact mirror of my site, and please ask if you want the design.
Once I leave Tech I hope to become a full-time webpage artist. I also want to travel as much as possible. I love the United States but sometimes I get the impression that not only am I a material girl living in a material world, I am also living a material life. I want to join the Peace Corps as well. I think that will give me a broader perspective of what I want to accomplish throughout my short life.
Website designing is one of the few ways I can express myself. I also do winterguard, the "Sport of the Arts" that integrates rifle, flag, sabre and dance into one big beautiful routine. I want to march World Class next year with Just Class of Baltimore, Maryland. If you like dance or skating, definitely look into Winterguard. It's such gorgeous, overlooked sport.
I believe everyone in this world has a reason for being here. A butterfly’s wings can flap a breeze that will cool the parched soul on the other end of the world; every life here has a reason for living. I also believe that my reason will come soon. I don’t think I’m meant to live a long life. And if that’s the case I want to find what I’m supposed to do so that I can sprout my angel wings and fly forever. I love this hopelessly confusing life, I really do. That’s why I’ll have no regrets about leaving, because I’ll have lived and loved and really that’s all anyone can expect of us.
